Beginning on October 2nd, we will have a letter of the week.

We will been with Mm and move forward, following our curriculum and letters that are often read first or most frequently in texts. Please refer to the schedule below to see upcoming letters.

Your child can draw a picture that starts with the letter of the week and write the word and letter that goes along with the picture. The goal is for them to say what the image begins with and the sound of the letter. They will earn a sticker and have their names written on the board, each day they bring in homework.
 
During circle time we will review the homework and clap for our friends that brought something in. This will help with letter recognition, phonetic awareness and beginning reading skills!
